International Cinema

A cinematic exploration of other nations, cultures and ways of perception. Films from around the world provide the basis for such topics as the historical development of a nation’s cinema through the eyes of its leading directors; an in-depth focus on the works of a foreign filmmaker; a multi-cultural comparison of films thematically linked; and other subjects related to appreciating international cinema. Prerequisite: ENGL 109
